Unimed Curitiba
Unimed Curitiba faced the challenge of unifying its digital presence and modernizing a portal with over 1,000 pages. The project focused on a full interface redesign and the creation of a Design System to ensure visual consistency, WCAG (AA) accessibility, and faster content management via the CMS.

Approach
Reducing visual fragmentation and improving conversion through information architecture
The old portal suffered from inconsistencies and complex navigation, making self-service difficult and hurting SEO rankings. To address this, I worked with the SEO team to analyze over 3,000 keywords and identify the top 50 search terms. This data allowed us to build a new information architecture and optimize content, turning a massive volume of pages into a seamless, intuitive, and accessible journey that complied with ANS regulations. This approach resulted in a significant increase in both ranked keywords and overall traffic

My Contribution & Impact
Design System, interface, and component strategy for scale
I worked as a UI Designer on the Design System and created modular templates that sped up high-fidelity production.
To optimize our workflow, we replaced traditional wireframes with a topic-based structural approach. This strategy helped align client expectations faster and reduced prototyping time by 40%. Integrating these components into CMS Drupal allowed the team to create new portal sections in just a few clicks, giving the content team full autonomy.

The new portal elevated the cooperative’s digital standards and sped up the shift to digital customer service
The pandemic accelerated the shift to digital services, making it more important than ever, especially in healthcare. That’s why the new portal was designed to make things easier for everyone and streamline how the cooperative connects with our community. The same 'Way of Caring' we provide in person at our service centers and clinics is now reflected in the new portal.
